Appears to be a mathematic and scientific model or toy of Apollonius  cone describing planes, it fits together in a puzzle like fashion the pieces slide or intersect with short pegs, and in other ways section together again.

Yellow and orange paint residue with small paper and possibly glue discoloration on base, fair condition, has been put to use, signs of wear consistent with age.

Measures approximately 9.25" H. with 6" Diameter of base.
